WLP517011 - Odessa (180 Gram Vinyl) (2LP In Flocked, Foil Stam
Category: Vinyl LP Releases
The group members may disagree for personal reasons, but Odessa is easily the best and most enduring of the Bee Gees' albums of the 1960s. It was also their most improbable success, owing to the conflicts behind its making. The record started out as a concept album, to be called "Masterpeace" and then "The American Opera!

WLP49975 - Donal Fagen Morph The Cat 180Gr 2LP Set
Category: Vinyl LP Releases
Donald Fagen has said that he considers his much-anticipated third solo album, Morph the Cat, to be the completion of a trilogy -- one that began more than 20 years ago with The Nightfly and continued a decade or so later on Kamakiriad....

BLPD000261801 - Queen "Queen II" 180gr LP
Category: Vinyl LP Releases
In one regard, Queen II does indeed provide more of the same thing as on the band's debut. Certainly, of all the other albums in Queen's catalog it bears the closest resemblance to its immediate predecessor, particularly in its lean, hard attack and in how it has only one song that is well-known to listeners outside of their hardcore cult: in this case, it's "Seven Seas of Rhye," which is itself more elliptical than "Keep Yourself Alive," the big song from the debut. But these similarities are superficial and Queen II is a very different beast than its predecessor, an album that is richer, darker, and weirder, an album that finds Queen growing as a band by leaps and bounds.

BLPD000261901 - Queen Sheer Heart Attack 180gr LP
Category: Vinyl LP Releases
Queen II was a breakthrough in terms of power and ambition, but Queen's third album Sheer Heart Attack was where the band started to gel. It followed quickly on the heels of the second record -- just by a matter of months; it was the second album they released in 1974 -- but it feels like it had a longer incubation period, so great is the progress here!!

BLPD000262101 - Queen A Day at the Races 180gr LP
Category: Vinyl LP Releases
Review: I really love this album. Although it's not as famous as A Night At The Opera, it is still loved by Queen fans everywhere. From the hard riffs of "Tie Your Mother Down", to the gospel choirs of "Somebody to Love", and to the beautiful "Teo Torriate", this album is surely a classic. This was my first Queen album and I love it. It's a true jewel!

Category: Vinyl LP Releases
ARTIST & INFO Hometown: Band Members: By the time Eric Clapton launched his solo career with the release of his self-titled debut album in mid-1970, he was long established as one of the world's major rock stars due to his group affiliations -- the Yardbirds, John Mayall's Bluesbreakers, Cream, and Blind Faith -- which had demonstrated his claim to being the best rock guitarist of his generation. Clapton has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a solo performer and as a member of the bands Yardbirds and Cream. He is the only person ever to be inducted three times. In his 40-year-plus career, Eric Clapton has received a total of 18 Grammys.
