Carlos Santana has been a frequent visitor to the Montreux Festival. On July 15th, 2004, he took to the stage accomplished by a stunning line-up of guests to perform a spectacular and historic concert of songs about peace and understanding that was called Hymns For Peace. This Yes concert from Montreux in 2003 is regarded by the band and fans alike as one of the finest they have ever played. To date it is the only time they've performed at the Festival but they have a long association with the town and even recorded their album Going For The One there in the late seventies.
