DTS DVD VIDEO MUSIC CONCERT When Jimi Hendrix was booked to close the final day at the Woodstock Music and Art Fair in 1969, no one knew it would become the most talked about rock festival in history and a pivotal moment for an entire generation. However, when it came Jimi's time to play, he certainly rose to the occasion. This video captures Hendrix's blazing set at Woodstock (which, due to the festival's many delays, ended up happening Monday morning rather than Sunday night). Along with his justly famous interpretation of "The Star Spangled Banner," the set includes "Fire," "Red House," "Purple Haze," "Izabella," "Voodoo Child (Slight Return)." and five other selections

DVD VIDEO MUSIC CONCERT IN STUNNING 5.1 SURROUND SOUND: Jimi Plays Berkeley showcases some of Jimi's finest ever performances filmed over two concerts at the Berkeley Community Theatre on May 30, 1970. The film documented the political unrest and student uprisings in Berkeley juxtaposed against such legendary Hendrix live performances of "Johnny B. Goode," "Hear My Train A Comin'," "I Don't Live Today," "Machine Gun," "Purple Haze," "Star Spangled Banner," and "Voodoo Child (Slight Return." This special DVD edition also features a new digital picture transfer of the original documentary film and, for the first time, a soundtrack remixed in both stereo and 5.1 audio surround by Eddie Kramer, Jimi Hendrix's original engineer.

DVD VIDEO MUSIC CONCERT IN STUNNING DTS 5.1 SURROUND SOUND: This is about Joe Cocker's 1970 U.S. tour which began in Detroit and ended in San Bernardino California. The bulk of the film is concert footage with studies of backstage life, life on the road, and a brief interview with a hard-core groupie. Joe Cocker is also a featured performer in the movie of the concert Woodstock, which came out at about the same time as this movie. His hoarse singing style, especially in rock ballads, closely resembles that of Rod Stewart, but his curious spastic gestures and un-selfconscious earnestness as a performer are uniquely his own. Clarke Fountain
